Feedback

I have shown my finished video to a number of people and the feedback I have had has been extremely positive. They liked how they felt the singer was singing towards them due to the close up I had used,  they liked the amount of locations I had used and they also liked how my video had a dark ending to it. One shot that I noticed stood out to all of them was the shot in the tunnel because it looks like my singer has a spotlight on him, Im happy with how well that shot worked for me and my audience.

Changes of the course of filming

Whilst filming I came up with many new ideas which resulted in changing many shots and characters for my music video. I originally planned to use my sofa scene throughout the video but that soon changed as i wanted to use a variety of locations so I therefore struggled to transport the props. I also changed some of my locations, I originally planned to use outdoor scenes throughout but I used a shot in an old tunnel. I also changed my characters. I did not end up using Bethany and Rebecca due to there availability and a change in the story line. For the stripper I used a girl called Megan. Megan was much more available for me so therefore I managed to spend time filing with her. There was also a change in my story, I originally planned for the music video to have a happy ending with the mother and the son being together but I wanted the video to have quite a dark ending which is quite unique. The video now has an ending shot of the mother continuing to be a prostitute and the son still all alone.

Back of my album

I am currently creating the back to my CD, i am going ahead with a similar gothic style to which the front of my CD does so it gives the whole CD an identity. I will have 12 tracks listed down the centre of the back and it will be in a white font similar to the front, I will also have some red on there so there are links between the back and the front.

work over Easter

over the Easter break I have managed to go out and complete my music video with Josh. I went over to Kelmarsh tunnels and the surrounding areas to keep the outdoor theme to my video going. I then spent a majority of my time editing my video so the song linked with the lip syncing. I now need to spend time on my Digipak and poster.
